After much speculation, it seems that Jamie Foxx has gotten the lead role in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained".

Fox, who won an Oscar for Best Actor for the Ray Charles biopic "Ray", can currently be seen in Seth Gordon's "Horrible Bosses", and has also recently wrapped up "The Skank Robbers".

Directed by Tarantino(Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs), "Django Unchained" stars Leonardo DiCaprio(The Quick and the Dead, The Departed) and Christoph Waltz(Inglourious Basterds, Water For Elephants).

There is a release date of December 25, 2012.
