Armida was born Armida Vendrell on May 29th, in Sonora, Mexico. Her zodiac sign was Gemini.

She died on Monday, October 23rd, 1989 at the age of seventy-eight (78) in Victorville, California, United States.

As an actress, Armida worked on movies such as Machine Gun Mama, released in 1944 portraying Nita Cordoba, The Girl from Monterrey (1943) as Lita Valdez, Border Cafe (1937) as Dominga, Fiesta (1941) (Cuca), Under a Texas Moon (1930) in which she plays Dolores, and General Crack (1930) in which she portrays Fidelia.
