Sidney Lumet dies at 86

Director Sidney Lumet, whose intellectual and emotionally-complex films have taught two generations of Americans to examine their own consciences, died in Manhattan April 11, 2011, at the age of 86.
His films include such classics as "12 Angry Men," "The Pawnbroker," "Serpico," "Dog Day Afternoon", "Network", and "The Verdict".
