Here are some memorable quotes from "Casablanca".

Released on November 26 of 1942 in the USA, "Casablanca" (also known as "Everybody Comes to Rick's") is a Drama/Romance/War film directed by Michael Curtiz, and written by Julius J. Epstein (screenplay) , starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid, Claude Rains, Conrad Veidt and Sydney Greenstreet.

If you know of any other memorable quotes, please do not hesitate to post them! Or simply if you want to share comments!

Thank you!

Note from the Webmaster: I messed up with the database once, and some quotes are now showing under the wrong film :-/... I am trying to fix this, but you can always report such mistakes.

Humphrey Bogart
Humphrey Bogart (Rick Blaine)
I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that.
Frequently misquoted as "Play it again, Sam"
I was willing to shoot Captain Renault, and I'm willing to shoot you.

Claude Rains
Claude Rains (Captain Renault)
[about Ugarte] I'm making out the report now. We haven't quite decided whether he committed suicide or died trying to escape.
I'm only a poor corrupt official.

Paul Henreid
Paul Henreid (Victor Laszlo)
You seem to think of me as just the leader of a cause, but I am also a human being.
You know how you sound, Mr. Blaine? Like a man who's trying to convince himself of something he doesn't believe in his heart.
Welcome back to the fight. This time, I know our side will win.

Sydney Greenstreet
Sydney Greenstreet (Signor Ferrari)
We might as well be frank, monsieur. It would take a miracle to get you out of Casablanca, and the Germans have outlawed miracles.
As leader of all the illegal activities in Casablanca, I'm an influential and respected man, but it would not be worth my life to do anything for Monsieur Laszlo. [to Ilsa] You, however, are a different matter.

Dialogues from "Casablanca"

Captain Renault (Claude Rains)
→ Rick, there are many exit visas sold in this cafe, but we know that you've never sold one. That is the reason we permit you to remain open.

Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart)
→ I thought it was because I let you win at roulette.

Captain Renault
→ That is another reason.

Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart)
→ Say, why don't we get married in Marseilles?

Ilsa Lund (Ingrid Bergman)
→ That's too far ahead to plan.

...

Ilsa Lund
→ I love you so much. And I hate this war so much. Oh, it's a crazy world. Anything can happen. If you shouldn't get away, I mean, if something should keep us apart, wherever they put you and wherever I'll be, I want you to know that...kiss me. Kiss me as if it were the last time.

Captain Renault (Claude Rains)
→ It might be a good idea for you to disappear from Casablanca for a while. There's a Free French garrison over at Brazzaville. I could be induced to arrange a passage.

Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart)
→ My letter of transit? I could use a trip. But it doesn't make any difference about our bet. You still owe me ten thousand francs.

Captain Renault
→ And that ten thousand francs should pay our expenses.

Rick Blaine
Our expenses? Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
