Here are some memorable quotes from "Casablanca".

Released on November 26 of 1942 in the USA, "Casablanca" (also known as "Everybody Comes to Rick's") is a Drama/Romance/War film directed by Michael Curtiz, and written by Julius J. Epstein (screenplay) , starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid, Claude Rains, Conrad Veidt and Sydney Greenstreet.

If you know of any other memorable quotes, please do not hesitate to post them! Or simply if you want to share comments!

Thank you!

Note from the Webmaster: I messed up with the database once, and some quotes are now showing under the wrong film :-/... I am trying to fix this, but you can always report such mistakes.

Humphrey Bogart
Humphrey Bogart (Rick Blaine)
I was willing to shoot Captain Renault, and I'm willing to shoot you.
Ranked #5 in the "100 Movie Quotes" list
I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that.

Claude Rains
Claude Rains (Captain Renault)
I don't interfere with them and they don't interfere with me. In Casablanca, I'm master of my fate.
[about Ugarte] I'm making out the report now. We haven't quite decided whether he committed suicide or died trying to escape.
Major Strasser has been shot. [pause] Round up the usual suspects.

Paul Henreid
Paul Henreid (Victor Laszlo)
Welcome back to the fight. This time, I know our side will win.
You know how you sound, Mr. Blaine? Like a man who's trying to convince himself of something he doesn't believe in his heart.
You seem to think of me as just the leader of a cause, but I am also a human being.

Sydney Greenstreet
Sydney Greenstreet (Signor Ferrari)
We might as well be frank, monsieur. It would take a miracle to get you out of Casablanca, and the Germans have outlawed miracles.
As leader of all the illegal activities in Casablanca, I'm an influential and respected man, but it would not be worth my life to do anything for Monsieur Laszlo. [to Ilsa] You, however, are a different matter.

Dialogues from "Casablanca"

Ilsa Lund (Ingrid Bergman)
→ Richard, Victor thinks I'm leaving with him. Haven't you told him?

Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart)
→ No, not yet.

Ilsa Lund
→ But it's all right. You were able to arrange everything?

Rick Blaine
→ Everything is quite all right.

Ilsa Lund
→ Oh, Rick.

Rick Blaine
→ We'll tell him at the airport. The less time to think, the easier for all of us. Please trust me.

Ilsa Lund
→ Yes, I will.

Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart)
→ They grab Ugarte. Then she walks in. Well, that's the way it goes. One in, one out. Sam?

Sam (Dooley Wilson)
→ Yeah, boss?

Rick Blaine
→ If it's December 1941 in Casablanca, what time is it in New York?

→ Uh, my watch stopped.

Rick Blaine
→ I bet they're asleep in New York. I bet they're asleep all over America.

[pounds his fist against the bar in frustration]

Rick Blaine
→ Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine! (#67 in the AFI's list of the top 100 movie quotations)
