"The Limits of Control" is a Drama film directed by Jim Jarmusch, released in the USA on May 22 of 2009 , starring Bill Murray, Gael García Bernal, John Hurt, Paz de la Huerta, Hiam Abbass and Isaach De Bankolé.

Jim Jarmusch (director) and Bill Murray have worked together on Broken Flowers, released in 2005 as Don Johnston, Coffee and Cigarettes (2003). As an actor, Bill Murray has been seen in movies such as Fantastic Mr. Fox, released in 2009 portraying Badger, The Jungle Book (2016) playing Baloo, Le Chaînon manquant (1980), The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) as Steve Zissou, This Old Cub (2004), and The Razor's Edge (1984) in which he plays Larry Darrell.

John Hurt and Jim Jarmusch (director) have also worked together on Dead Man, released in 1995 playing John Scholfield, Only Lovers Left Alive (2013) playing Marlowe. As an actor, John Hurt has been seen in movies such as King Ralph, released in 1991 portraying Lord Percival Graves, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (2010) playing Mr. Ollivander, Contact (1997), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II (2011) as Mr. Ollivander, Frankenstein Unbound (1990) in which he plays Dr. Joe Buchanan/Narrator, and 10 Rillington Place (1971) (character: Timothy John Evans).
