Christophe Gans is a French director, screenwriter, and producer. After Necronomicon, he directed Silent Hill, released in 2006, Onimusha (2008).

Shusuke Kaneko is a Japanese director, and screenwriter. Before directing Necronomicon, he had directed . Since, Shusuke Kaneko directed Gamera daikaijû kuchu kessen, released in 1995, Gamera 2: Region shurai (1996), Gamera 3: Iris kakusei (1999), Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001), Azumi 2: Death or Love (2005), and Desu nôto (2006).

Brian Yuzna is a Filipino producer, director, writer, and actor. Before Necronomicon, he had directed Society, released in 1989. Since, Brian Yuzna directed Return of the Living Dead III, released in 1993, Return of the Living Dead III (1993), The Dentist (1996), Progeny (1998), The Dentist 2 (1998), and Faust: Love of the Damned (2001).
