Since, Terry Gilliam directed Brazil, released in 1985, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988), The Fisher King (1991), Twelve Monkeys (1995), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998), and The Brothers Grimm (2005).

Terry Jones is a Welsh actor, writer, and director. Before The Meaning of Life, he had directed Life of Brian, released in 1979, Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1974). Since, Terry Jones directed Erik the Viking, released in 1989.
