Released on December 12 of 1980 in the USA, "Stir Crazy" (also known as "Nessuno ci può fermare", "Zwei wahnsinnig starke Typen") is a Comedy film directed by Sidney Poitier . Gene Wilder (Skip Donahue) is starring, alongside Richard Pryor (Harry Monroe), Georg Stanford Brown (Rory Schultebrand), JoBeth Williams (Meredith), Craig T. Nelson (Deputy Ward Wilson) and Barry Corbin (Warden Walter Beatty).

Barry Corbin has also been directed by Sidney Poitier in Ghost Dad, released in 1990 in which Barry Corbin plays Mr. Emery Collins. As an actor, Barry Corbin has been seen in movies such as Honkytonk Man, released in 1982 in which he plays Arnspringer, Any Which Way You Can (1980) (Fat Zack), Permanent Record (1988), Who's Harry Crumb? (1989) (P.J. Downing), The Hot Spot (1990) in which he plays Sheriff, and Held Up (1999) in which he plays Pembry.

Richard Pryor and Sidney Poitier (director) have also collaborated in Uptown Saturday Night, released in 1974 (character: Sharp Eye Washington). As an actor, Richard Pryor played in movies such as Critical Condition, released in 1987 (character: Eddie Lenahan/Dr. Kevin Slattery), Some Call It Loving (1973) in which he plays Jeff, Some Kind of Hero (1982) as Cpl. Eddie Keller/Ted Segal, Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life Is Calling (1986) (Jo Jo Dancer/Alter Ego), Uptown Saturday Night (1974) as Sharp Eye Washington, and Blue Collar (1978) (character: Zeke Brown).
