Kirk Douglas (Spartacus) is starring, alongside Laurence Olivier (Marcus Licinius Crassus), Jean Simmons (Varinia), Charles Laughton (Sempronius Gracchus), Peter Ustinov (Lentulus Batiatus) and John Gavin (Julius Caesar).
