He's son of a great Cuban economist, Felipe Pazos.

His dad was an important member to the Cuban Revolution, in 1959.

I hope peoples can contribute to tell us a little more about Felipe Pazos Jr, born in Havana, Cuba, in 1944.

As Manolin, in the movie The Old Man and the Sea (1958), Felipe Pazos Jr was a great actor is his 1st play.

My best wishes for Felipe Pazos Junior.

Cyro, from Guaruja-Brazil.

Felipe Pazos Jr.

I'd like to know whatever became of the young Cuban boy, Felipe Pazos Jr. who played opposite Spencer Tracey in the 1958 movie, "The Old Man & the Sea". Does anyone know? Is he still living & where? I only know that he was the son of a well-known Cuban economist.

He never acted in any other films. He left Cuba at the same his his famous economist father did. He is still alive and is currently living in Venezuela.

I also would like to know what Felipe Pazos is doing today living in Venezuela. What a spirit and strength of a timelessness. Obviously, his powerful presence was tendered from his father. Would love to hear about his life.

Felipe and I were the best of friends in Junior High School. When Fidel came to power, his father was appointed head of the National Bank of Cuba, and I was invited to spend the summer of 1959 with the family in Havana, a wonderful time for a 14 year old. After the family left Cuba, I saw Felipe one more time. We agreed to disagree on the Revolution, and vowed to remain friends regardless. But I never saw or heard from him again.
