Where the wild things are...movie

Just saw the film and I want a refund! It is a dark and angry movie and very slow moving as well. My 10 year old was bored and the animal Carol scared her with his angry outbursts. She cried when the owls were stoned out of the sky. It is not a movie for children, but for adults looking to relive a childhood memory of a book read long ago. I can respect the deeper side of dysfunction each animal represents like anger, insecurity, jealousy, low self esteem and envy, but for children, it was too deep. I want my money back!

I thought it was amazing. Dave Eggers is an amazing writer. I don't think it was too deep for children. "Inside all of us is a wild thing."

Yeah, really. I loved the movie. It was great. In a way it was depressing and crazy, but it was happy too. I think Eggers did an amazing job with the film. Maybe it's just a personal opinion, but it's true.

well, to actually answer your question, Carol asks Max what his first order of business is going to be and he replies with "Let the wild rumpus start!"
