Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Last Olympian
"Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Last Olympian" is an upcoming Action/Adventure/Fantasy film written by Rick Riordan (story).
Percy Jackson, his friends, and the Olympians fight in a war resembling the original war between the Greek gods and the Titans and in a final battle with the powerful Titan, Kronos. They ultimately defeat Kronos in the battle and Olympus is saved. Many fight for Olympus, including the Hunters of Artemis, dryads, satyrs, naiads, and tree nymphs, Chiron's centaur cousins the Party Ponies, and the hellhound Mrs. O' Leary. They have to defend Mt. Olympus while defeating Kronos's huge army of rogue half-bloods, dracaenae, Hyperboreans, Laestrygonians, telekhines, and hellhounds.
The great prophecy doesn't apply to Percy but to Luke. Rachel tells that to Percy, saying to him that it will influence his choice when he turns 16. Luke, possessed by Kronos, eventually is shocked back into his normal self when Annabeth reminds him of the promise he made her long ago. The 'cursed blade' of the prophecy was the knife that Luke gave to Annabeth and promises to her that they are family. Luke stabs himself with the blade in order to defeat Kronos. Luke kills himself to prevent Kronos from rising, fulfilling the prophecy and ending the war.
The gods grant Percy, Grover, Annabeth, and Tyson each a wish. Tyson becomes the General of the Cyclops army, and the weapon they grant him of his own request is a "stick" (a.k.a. club). Grover gets a place on the Council of Cloven Elders since a vacancy was left open by Leneus dying, and becomes the new Lord of the Wild. Annabeth gets to design and rebuild Olympus, because she wanted to be an architect. Seeing all the damage done, Percy makes the gods promise on the River Styx that they will recognize all of their children by the time they turn 13. He also asks them to build cabins for Hades, and the minor gods like Hecate and Morpheus, instead of becoming a god as they had thought and that Calypso be free of her curse. Rachel becomes the new oracle, spouting the next Great Prophecy. Percy and Annabeth become a couple, and after their first kiss, Clarisse La Rue and all their other surviving friends dunk them in the lake, where they share an underwater kiss. The story ends when Annabeth and Percy conclude that life for a demigod will never be peaceful.
