"Thor 2" will be directed by Patty Jenkins

This is official, Marvel has confirmed that this is Patty Jenkins (Monster), who will direct the second film about the God of Thunder.
The first film, has been directed by British film maker Kenneth Branagh, and earned $181 millions in the USA, and $450 millions worldwide.
Chris Hemsworth is still attach to the character of Thor, that he played in the first film, and in the upcoming The Avengers coming in 2012.
Disney, which distributes Marvel's film, has decided to push back Thor 2, and is planning to release it on November 15th 2013, to leave the summer period to The Lone Ranger, which stars Johnny Depp.
