"12 Years a Slave" Release Date Moved Up to October 2013!

The true-life film "12 Years a Slave" has had its release date moved up from December of 2013 to October 18, 2013.

"12 Years a Slave" tells the story of a free black man, Solomon Northup, who was kidnapped and forced into labor as a slave for twelve years in pre-Civil War United States.

Steve McQueen("Shame") directed the film from a script by John Ridley. It stars Chiwetel Ejiofor("The Shadow Line"), Brad Pitt("World War Z"), Michael Fassbender("Frank"), and Benedict Cumberbatch("The Fifth Estate").
